One of the most popular services I offer is “Drums To Go”. Remote drum recording is easier than ever — just send me your music and I will add live drum kit/percussion to bring your songs to life. Guaranteed to sound better than the built in Logic drummers!
I have 20 years of experience playing drums in the studio and I work out of a beautiful studio in Brooklyn called Honey Jar. I have many bass drums, snare drums, and cymbals to fit any sound you’re hearing in your head. I also love to let my imagination run wild, so if you don’t know what you want in terms of sound or performance, I’m down to give my opinion and try various options out for you.
All drums are immaculately tracked with Neumann, Shure, Electrovoice, Cascade, AKG, and Beyer Dynamic mics through a 1970s Studer 189 Mk II 28-Input Mix Console, along with API, OSA Avalon, and Manley preamps. I’m always game to run a room mic though an 1176 or LA2A compressor — just ask. The point of all the technical stuff — it’s going to sound good.
I deliver full res WAV or AIFF stems of all of the takes I do on your song — typically I’ll use 10-15 mics in various positions so that you’ve got the full range of options when you go to mix.
